COLUMBUS, Ohio – Clemson Volleyball alumni Beta Dumancic has officially signed with the Columbus Fury, a women’s professional volleyball team and a founding member of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF). Dumancic, a middle blocker and native of Croatia, most recently played for Aris Thessaloniki in Greece in the 2023-24 season.
A two-year starter and letter winner for the Tigers, Dumancic appeared in 63 matches. Over the course of her career at Clemson, she saw action in 242 sets. Dumancic’s contributions to the team extended to leading the Tigers in both 2013 (34) and 2014 (36) in solo blocks, as well as blocks per set in 2013 with 1.22. She concluded her career with 290 blocks (70 solo, 220 assisted) and 537.0 points.
Following her playing career with the Tigers, Dumancic played professionally for nearly a decade in seven different clubs throughout Europe, including Zanetti Bergamo (now Volley Bergamo) in Italy’s Serie A1 League, widely considered one of the oldest and most prestigious women’s national leagues in European volleyball. She is also a member of the Croatia women’s national volleyball team. She competed and won a silver medal at the 2021 Women’s European Volleyball League.
Dumancic joins former teammate, Karis Watson (Atlanta Vibe), as the second Tiger to compete in the PVF. The Fury begin training camp December 1.
