STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Kami Miner has been selected the ACC Setter of the Week for the fifth time this season, while libero Elena Oglivie has been voted the ACC Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Kami Miner guided the Cardinal offense to a combined .417 attack percentage in a pair of sweeps over Clemson and No. 16 Georgia Tech. She averaged 12.17 assists and 3.33 digs per set. The Redondo Beach native had a double-double with 42 assists and 10 digs to go with two blocks and an ace against Clemson on Friday. She followed up with her team-leading 13th double-double of the season with 31 assists, 10 digs, two kills and an ace as the Cardinal hit a season-best .542 against 16th-ranked Georgia Tech.
Oglivie anchored the Stanford defense, averaging 5.17 digs, 2.50 assists and 0.50 aces per set. She was also perfect on serve receive as Stanford held its opponents to a combined .108 clip. The fifth-year had a match-high 16 digs, five assists and two aces against the Tigers. On Saturday, she again recorded a match-high with 15 digs and had 10 assists and an ace for her second double-double of the season.
Stanford remains on The Farm this week, playing host to Virginia on Thursday and Virginia Tech on Friday. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m. on ACCNX.
