Florida Volleyball Jumps to No. 18 in Newest AVCA/TARAFLEX Top-25 Poll


The Gators have been ranked inside the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association Top-25 poll for 531 consecutive weeks.

 

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following a 2-0 week to extend their win streak to 10, the Florida volleyball team jumps to No. 18 in the newest 2024 Division I women’s volleyball poll, released by the organization on Monday afternoon. 

Florida approaches postseason with two ranked wins under their belt. The Gators beat Missouri on Nov. 15 when the Tigers were ranked No. 25 and Florida State on Sept. 17, who was ranked No. 18 at the time. Overall, Florida has played against five teams who are mentioned in Monday’s poll: No. 12 Kentucky, No. 14 Texas, No. 19 Georgia Tech, No. 21 Florida State and No. 24 Missouri.
