Florida Volleyball Moves to No. 21 in Newest AVCA/TARAFLEX Top-25 Poll


The Gators have been ranked inside the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association Top-25 poll for 529 consecutive weeks.

 

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After tallying two conference sweeps last week to extend their win streak to seven, the Florida volleyball team moves to No. 21 in the newest 2024 Division I women’s volleyball poll, released by the organization on Monday afternoon. 

Florida has played against four teams who are mentioned in Monday’s poll: No. 13 Kentucky, No. 14 Texas, No. 15 Georgia Tech and No. 22 Florida State. The Gators have a chance to tally a ranked win on Friday, as Missouri enters the top-25 for the first time this season. The Tigers rank No. 25 and are currently on a nine-match win streak.
