THE FLATS – Georgia Tech volleyball announced a six-match slate for its return to live action this spring on Friday. The schedule consists of five home matches through two tournaments on The Flats, along with one match on the road. All spring competition will be free and open to the public.
The first home tournament will be played on April 1 as the White and Gold host Kennesaw State at 10 a.m., Tennessee at 11:15 a.m. and Florida at 4 p.m., all in O’Keefe Gymnasium. On top of competition for the White and Gold, 11 neutral matches will be played among three different facilities. While all of Tech’s matches as well as a pair of neutral contests will be played in O’Keefe Gymnasium, six more matches will be underway in the Zelnak Center, and another three bouts will take place in the Freshman Gym. The first matches on each court will be played at 10 a.m. or later, and the final match on each court will take place at 4:15 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets will host their second spring tournament on April 15, with all matches played in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Georgia Tech will host Middle Tennessee at 12:30 p.m. before concluding the day with an exhibition version of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate at 4 p.m. In between the two Tech matches, the Blue Raiders and Bulldogs will square off at 2 p.m.
To wrap up the spring, Tech will travel to Auburn to take on the Tigers on April 22 at 4 p.m. in Auburn, Ala.
Four of Tech’s six spring opponents reached the 2022 NCAA tournament in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Auburn. Florida also finished the season ranked No. 12 by the AVCA while Auburn received votes in the final poll.
The Jackets enter the spring on the heels of their third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance in 2022.
