Huskies Sweep Final Day Of Tiger Beach Challenge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Coming off two tough losses to ranked opponents yesterday, the Huskies came out on fire on day two of the Tiger Beach Challenge. Washington faced the University of New Orleans and the University of Southern Miss. Starting with a new lineup for day two, Coach Derek Olson was hopeful for his squad.

“Today was a good opportunity for us to work on some things we maybe wish we could have done better on Saturday. We identified some disciplines after two tough matches against some top 5 teams and got a chance to implement them today,” Olson said, “I’m hoping we leave Baton Rouge with some new insight into how to get better, but we will see how training goes this week.”

With questionable weather on the forecast, games were played to completion. The Huskies were victorious over both UNO and USM beating them both 3-0.
