SEATTLE – Washington Head Coach Leslie Gabriel announced two Husky high school commits today on National Signing Day. Julia Hunt, a middle blocker from Kentucky, and Alexis Haury, a setter from Oregon, signed on the dotted line today to officially become Dawgs.
The pair are the first two high school recruits to sign with Gabriel since she moved into the Head Coach role, and they are exactly the types of players that Gabriel wants as Huskies.
“Alexis Haury and Julia Hunt are both extremely talented, relentless competitors, and most importantly good people,” said Gabriel. “Not only do we get two great people in our program, but we add two great families to our Husky volleyball family. We believe this is a special recruiting class for us and we can’t wait until they are here on campus.”
