COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Volleyball junior rightside hitter Jordan Iliff was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Iliff paced the Tigers with 13 kills and eight digs while hitting .357 with two blocks and two aces in Mizzou’s 3-0 sweep of #23 Auburn on Oct. 20.
The St. Louis, native, has now finished in double-digits attacking in six-straight matches. Iliff has also totaled 10 or more kills in 15 matches this season.
The rightside hitter has also posted eight or more digs in each of the last five matches.
In SEC play, Iliff has finished with double-digit kills in all but two matches (seven of nine).
This season, she ranks 10th in the SEC with 3.97 points per set (294.0 points) and 13th in the conference with 3.30 kills per set (244 kills).
Iliff also ranks in the top 10 in the league with 0.36 aces per set (ninth, 27 aces) and third during SEC play with 0.47 aces per set (16 aces).
The SEC weekly honor is the first in Iliff’s career as Missouri has now secured back-to-back weeks earning conference recognition (Sierra Dudley and Maya Sands on Oct. 16).
The SEC Offensive Player of the Week honor is the first for Mizzou since Kylie Deberg on Feb. 1, 2021.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Mizzou next takes on #12 Tennessee at the Hearnes Center on Wednesday in the Tigers’ Volleween match. First serve is set for 7 p.m., CT.
- Fans can participate in pre-match trick-or-treating, costume contest and can receive Mizzou’s Volleween limited edition poster. Following the match, the 2023 Missouri team will be signing autographs.
- The match will be streamed on SEC Network with Sam Gore and Emily Ehman on the broadcast.
- Following that contest, Missouri will travel to Oxford, Mississippi, for a rematch against Ole Miss on Sunday, October 29.
