MATCH 27-28

Illinois closes out its home stretch with matches against Michigan State and Iowa this weekend. The Fighting Illini come into the final home slate with a 13-13 overall record and an 8-8 mark in Big Ten Play.

The 2022 campaign marks the 49th season of Illinois volleyball with the Illini holding an overall record of 1,047-608-7 (.633) and a mark of 476-305 (.610) in the Big Ten.

LAST TIME OUT    

The Illini went 2-0 last week, sweeping Michigan State before topping Michigan 3-1 on the road. The straight-set victory at MSU marked the seventh sweep of the season and the third in league play.

The Illini logged 13 service aces against the Wolverines, marking the most recorded by the squad since logging a program-best 18 aces against Missouri State on Sept. 9. Raina Terry logged a match-high five aces for Illinois

HISTORY OF ILLINOIS VS. THE FIELD

Illinois holds the 54-28 advantage over Michigan State. The mark includes a 26-9 mark when hosting the Spartans. Against Iowa, the Illini own a 68-14 record, going 34-6 when hosting the Hawkeyes.
