Isanovic, Levinska Earn All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention


SAN FRANCISCO –  Pin hitters Iman Isanovic and Marta Levinska received 2022 All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention nods for their performances on the court this season after leading the Sun Devils in kills.

For Isanovic, this is her third year in a row receiving conference honors, her second honorable mention. This is Levinska’s third conference honor and second honorable mention. Her first year saw her make the all-freshman team. For both Isanovic and Levinska, this is their third postseason conference nod, which only three other Sun Devils in program history have achieved.

Isanovic has had another stellar year for the Sun Devils as an outside hitter. This season, the Bosnia and Herzegovina native surpassed 1,000 career kills and climbed up the ASU record books. She’s currently in eighth place all-time with 1,392 kills. In all but six matches, she notched double-digit kills, including two 20-plus kill performances. This season, Isanovic led the team in kills (421) and aces (32). The senior will  be back for her fifth year in 2023.

Junior pin hitter Levinska from Latvia continues to rise as her career goes on. This season was her most productive yet as she totaled 412 kills, the most she has had in a single season. She also hit .280, the highest percentage among pin hitters for the Sun Devils. She had five matches with 20-plus kills this year, notching a career-high 25 twice. In the last match of the season, she hit 1,000 career kills, becoming the 19th Sun Devil to reach that mark after Isanovic did it earlier in the season. She will continue to climb up the record book in her 2023 senior campaign.
