Cuneo Granda S.Bernardo suffered a heart-breaking loss to Savino Del Bene Scandicci in a thrilling match that had fans on the edge of their seats in the Italian Serie A1. After more than two hours of intense battle, Scandicci emerged victorious with a score of 3-2 (25-19, 22-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13 ).
Brenda Castillo, libero of Scandicci, was named the MVP of the match, with her numerous defenses earning the applause of the 1,675 fans at the Cuneo sports hall. Antropova scored 21 points, while Zhu contributed 17 points for Scandicci. Binto Diop who replaced Gicquel, scored 21 points, well supported by Sofya Kuznetsova who scored 15 for Cuneo.
