The JVA is a proud supporter of the Side-Out Foundation and the Dig Pink® Program. Every year the JVA commits to raising funds for the Side-Out Foundation in order to support research specifically for patients with metastatic breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease, and the least funded area of research. We are excited to share that through our efforts at the 2023 JVA World Challenge April 14-16th we were able to raise a record breaking $20,000 donated directly to the Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink Campaign to help save lives.
Every $2,000 raised through Dig Pink allows Side-Out to provide an unprecedented analysis to metastatic breast cancer patients and their oncologists. This unique analysis ranks treatment solutions and clinical trials for each patient that can substantially improve the length and quality of their life.
“JVA is overwhelmed with the incredible support from all of the athletes and families who attended the JVA World Challenge, and those who donated to our campaign online. With your help and the work of the Side-out Foundation, we can make a difference in the lives of so many individuals battling metastatic breast cancer,” said JVA Executive Director, Jenny Hahn.
The JVA has been a proud supporter of The Side-OutFoundation for over 10 years, raising awareness and funding for the organization’s mission to advocate for metastatic breast cancer patients in the hopes of saving lives.
“The Side-Out Foundation is honored to have the continued support of JVA in our mission for patients living with metastatic breast cancer to regain control of their lives. Partnership with JVA allows The Side-Out Foundation to serve more people, collect more data, gain more knowledge and give more time to those living with metastatic breast cancer. That is our goal,” shared Rick Dunetz, Founder & Executive Director of Side-Out.
