DURHAM – Duke volleyball sophomore Kerry Keefe is set to participate at the USA Volleyball’s Women’s National Team Open Program (WNTOP), which will be held at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and runs Friday through Sunday.
The WNT Open Program is used for consideration for selection to both the U.S. Women’s National Team and the U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team. In 2024, members of the U.S. Women’s National Team will compete in the following events: Volleyball Nations League, NORCECA Final Six, Pan American Cup and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
After being named to the all-freshman team a season ago, Keefe was vital in Duke’s offensive success as a sophomore in 2023.
She finished the year tied for first on the team with 356 kills for 3.36 kills/set, 222 digs, 56.0 total blocks and 29 aces. Keefe recorded double-digit kills in all but three games, including a 10-match streak to end the season, and produced five double-doubles. She hit an impressive .308 percent for the season and saw 10 games with three-or-more blocks.
The event will be streamed on BallerTV ($). For more information on the WNTOP, visit here.
