COLUMBIA, Ky. – NAIA officials announced the 2021-22 NAIA Volleyball National Championship Pool Play Schedule today. The National Championship begins on Tuesday, November 30, at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
The No. 23-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team were placed into pool E and are joined by No. 5-ranked Providence (Mont.) and No. 10-ranked Life (Ga.).
Twenty-four teams won their opening-round matches on Saturday to advance to the final site. Eight three-team pools will be contested on Tuesday and Wednesday with the winner of each pool advancing to a single-elimination tournament.
Lindsey Wilson (25-5, 13-3 MSC) meets Providence (26-2, 10-0 MSC) at 10:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday, November 30 before continuing play at 5 p.m. against Life (33-2, 16-0 MSC). Life and Providence meet on Wednesday.
The winner of the pool begins bracket play on Thursday, December 2.
The NAIA Network – the association’s official video-streaming home – will broadcast all pool play and quarterfinal matches live at the 2021 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa. The video platform, powered by Presto, allows users access to live video, statistics, and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile. Single-day passes can be purchased for $9.95, while a pool play pass is $24.95 (November 30 – December 1) and a championship package is available at $39.95.
The semifinals on December 3 and the championship on December 4 will be streamed on ESPN3. Links can be found on the schedule at a closer date.
