TEMPE – The Sun Devil Volleyball family got a little bigger today with the addition of Piper Rama to the 2024 roster, a libero out of Phoenix.
“Piper is a local talent who plays for both highly successful high school and club teams,” head coach JJ Van Niel said. “We were really drawn to her athleticism and competitiveness and know Sun Devil fans are going to love watching her play!”
Rama is a 5-8 libero who is no stranger to winning. She won four state championships at Sandra Day O’Connor High School: three in beach volleyball and one for indoor. She also won three open national titles in club with Revolution: two in beach volleyball and one for indoor. For high school volleyball, she was an outside hitter.
Her parents are Richard and Shoni and she has two siblings, Zach and Shae. Her father Richard graduated from ASU and her mother Shoni played volleyball at Memphis.
