Martell Named Atlantic East Conference Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference announced their weekly men’s volleyball awards, and Joe Martell (Levittown, Pa. / Pennsbury) was named Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week. This is the second time this season that Martell has been honored by the Atlantic East having previously been named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Martell had a combined 78 assists, to go along with eight kills, two service aces, and 13 digs over three matches. He had one kill, 23 assists, and seven digs vs Neumann on February 22^nd. He had five kills, 23 assists, two service aces, and four digs vs Widener on February 22^nd. He had two kills, 32 assists, and two digs vs Valley Forge on February 23^rd.

The Immaculata University men’s volleyball team will be back in action on Tuesday, February 27^th when they visit Elizabethtown at 7:00 pm.
