COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Maryland volleyball team has sold out its upcoming match against No. 3 Nebraska on Sunday Oct. 2 at 1 p.m., at the XFINITY Center Pavilion.

With the largest pre-sale in Maryland volleyball history, the Terps will have a packed XFINITY Center Pavilion on Sunday afternoon.

The all-time record for volleyball attendance in the Pavilion is 2,225, set on Oct. 19, 2019 against Nebraska. The second-highest attendance was 1,848 vs. Wisconsin on Nov. 17, 2018. 

Last season featured three of the top attendances in Pavilion history as matches against Wisconsin (1,828), Minnesota (1,807) and Penn State (1,513), all drew crowds of more than 1,500. 

The first 100 students may claim a free ticket to the match when they present their student ID at the will call booth located at Gate C of XFINITY Center. 

Prior to Sunday’s match, the Terps will welcome Michigan State on Friday night for a primetime Big Ten Network match at 6:30 PM. 

Maryland currently sits at 9-5 on the year and continues to lead the nation in blocks per set (3.27) and total blocks (173.5).
