KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Lady Vols are back in action at home Wednesday evening, taking on the 15th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats after a four-match road trip over the past three weeks.
First serve for the contest is at 6:30 p.m. ET in Food City Center, and the match will be streamed on SEC Network+. Tennessee’s match versus the Wildcats will be an “Orange Out” so fans are encouraged to pack the stands wearing their orange gear to cheer on the team.
Doors open one hour before each match, and fans can purchase tickets on AllVols.com. Parking is available in G3, G4 and G5 lots beside the arena. Gate B will be the entrance for general fans, while students and player guests are encouraged to use Gate C. The clear bag policy is in effect for all matches. Additional items to know before coming out for a competition can be found on the Volleyball Gameday Page.
Last season, the Lady Vols split their contests against UK, winning on the road in Rupp Arena before dropping the match in Knoxville. Both teams made the Sweet Sixteen a year ago but lost several key contributors.
Both programs are coming off a Sunday loss and will be looking to get back in the win column on Wednesday night. Tennessee (9-6, 2-3 SEC) dropped a five-set heartbreaker on the road at Missouri, while the Wildcats (9-7, 3-2 SEC) were swept by Texas.
After Wednesday’s match, the Lady Vols will continue home play in Food City Center for another contest against the 25th-ranked Auburn Tigers. With the match being on 10/20, fans can purchase tickets for the game at half price and hotdogs will be $2 until first serve at 2 p.m. Stick around after the match for player autographs by the court as part of our Signature Sunday special.
