McGurl Named Atlantic East Conference Men’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Atlantic East Conference announced their weekly men’s volleyball awards on Monday afternoon, and freshman Josh McGurl (West Grove, Pa. / Avon Grove) was named Atlantic East Conference Men’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week.

McGurl had a combined 74 kills, five service aces, 37 digs, and two blocks over four matches. He had 22 kills, one service ace, 11 digs, and one total block against Russell Sage on March 4^tt., He had 20 kills, four service aces, and nine digs helping lead Immaculata to a five-set win over Hood on March 5^th. He had a combined 32 kills, 17 digs, and one block in helping Immaculata earn a doubleheader split with Wilson College on March 9^th.

McGurl and the Immaculata University men’s volleyball team will be back in action on Friday, March 15^th when they host Saint Elizabeth at Alumnae Hall at 7:00 PM.
