Men’s Volleyball Falls to Misericordia and Messiah

DALLAS, Pa.- The Immaculata men’s volleyball team dropped a pair of matches today vs. Misericordia and Messiah losing both matches by scores of 3-0. 

In their first match vs. Misericordia, the Macs fell by scores of 25-11, 25-12, and 25-10. Joe Martell led Immaculata with five assists, three digs, and one kill. Matthew Pfister contributed two kills, three digs, and one block. Jack Debes added two kills and two digs. Evan Timlin had the lone service ace on the day for the Macs.  

In their second match of the day, Immaculata fell to Messiah by scores of 25-11, 25-13, and 25-8. Jack Debes led Immaculata with six kills. Matthew Pfister had five kills, and Evan Timlin had three kills. Joe Martell distributed 14 assists. Messiah led Immaculata in the match eight service aces to one.  

The Immaculata men’s volleyball team (2-7) will be back in action on Saturday, February 18th when they travel to Neumann University for a tri-match with Neumann and St. Elizabeth’s University. Immaculata will face St. Elizabeth in their first match at 1:00 PM, and then take on Neumann at 3:00 PM.
