COLUMBIA Mo. – The University of Missouri volleyball team is looking for fans to join the team as official ball shaggers for the 2024 season.
The opportunity is open to students in grades second through sixth, as well as college students. Due to NCAA compliance regulations, ball shaggers cannot be in seventh through 12th grade.
Volleyball Ball Shaggers are a vital part of the match day experience as they help maintain the pace of play over the entirety of home contests.
Ball shaggers will receive several benefits including:
- Complimentary admission for four guests for the match they work
- A free Mizzou Volleyball t-shirt
Parents and students can sign up by filling out the attached online form. Once completed, a Mizzou Athletics representative will reach out to confirm the selected match dates. No need to reach out to anyone, once you fill out the form, someone will contact you regarding your selected dates.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Missouri next returns home for the third week of the season to host the 2024 Mizzou Invitational.
- The Tigers will face Kansas City and UT Martin on Sept. 13 in their home opener at the Hearnes Center before wrapping the tournament against Lindenwood on Sept. 15.
- Tickets for each match of the 2024 Mizzou Invitational are $5 and can be purchased online.
- The Kansas City match is Field Trip Day while the evening contest against UT Martin features a Welcome to the Zou student tailgate and t-shirt giveaway, while supplies last.
- The tournament finale against Lindenwood is Kids Day with a Truman Squish Mellow giveaway, while supplies last.
