Outside Hitter Played For Cal From 2005-08

California volleyball alum Morgan Miller (formerly Beck) is making her return to professional volleyball as she signed a contract with new professional league League One Volleyball (LOVB) Pro on Thursday. The league will begin its first preseason this November, with team assignments yet to be revealed.

“I am beyond excited and grateful to be able to step back into the sport I love so much after years of focusing on family,” Miller said in the official LOVB release. “To get to be a part of this elite group of athletes elevating women’s volleyball to a mainstream level is a privilege and I can’t wait to be back on the court.”

Miller played outside hitter at Cal and reached the NCAA Tournament in each year of her career, helping the Golden Bears to the program’s first NCAA Semifinal appearance in 2007. She was named to the 2005 Pac-10 All-Freshman Team as a rookie and later earned All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention status in 2006 and 2007. After graduation, she played indoor volleyball professionally around the world before switching to beach volleyball in 2010, playing for both the U.S. National Team and the AVP Pro Tour.
