MPSF/MOLTEN OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Concordia senior opposite Uriel Batista (Colon, Panama) led the Golden Eagles to their first-ever win over No. 8 Pepperdine (Apr. 6), putting away 22 kills with a .326 hitting percentage. Batista then recorded 21 kills with a .581 clip, and served two aces, in the road match against the Waves (Apr. 8). He totaled 43 kills (6.14 K/S) with a .432 clip for the series. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Batista.

NATHANIEL GATES OF STANFORD
MPSF/MOLTEN DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Stanford senior middle blocker Nathaniel Gates (La Jolla, CA) led the defense in a pair of home wins over No. 6 Grand Canyon (Apr. 7-8), averaging 1.38 blocks per set (11 total, 2 solo) to go with 2.94 points per set. In the first win, Gates recorded a match-high six blocks, before he tied for a match-best five blocks along with two digs and a career-high 13 kills (.667) in the second win. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Gates, each in the last two weeks.
