ROSEMONT, Ill. – The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team clinched the 2023 Big Ten Conference championship on Sunday with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-15) victory over Iowa at Xtream Arena. The Huskers claimed their fourth title overall and first since sharing the championship with Penn State in 2017. Nebraska will be the conference’s automatic qualifier into this year’s NCAA Tournament.
Nebraska has remained perfect throughout the regular season, boasting a 27-0 overall record and an 18-0 mark in conference action, their best record since starting the 2005 season 28-0.
The final matches of the 2023 Big Ten Conference volleyball regular season schedule will be played next Friday and Saturday, and the 64-team field for the NCAA Tournament will be announced on Sunday at 6 p.m. (ET) on ESPN.
