COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland women’s soccer and volleyball fans are now able to represent their favorite Terrapin players, while also helping student-athletes monetize their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) through Fanatics’ NIL Name and Number program, which went live this week.
Officially-licensed Maryland t-shirts and hoodies are available by clicking here. Fans can choose their favorite Terp via the drop-down roster menu.
All current student-athletes, who have agreed to participate, are eligible to have jerseys made and will take a percentage of revenue from each jersey sale.
The Terps are one of a select group of schools participating in the launch of Fanatics’ groundbreaking NIL jersey program.
Maryland continues to be a leader in creating NIL deals for its student-athletes through its MOMENTUM program. The Terps have also partnered with Opendorse to optimize NIL and brand marketing for its student-athletes. Maryland Athletics was awarded Opendorse’s Power 5 Athlete-Driven Partner of the Year.
