LOS ANGELES — No. 1 UCLA opens the 2023 season at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic at Queen’s Beach in Honolulu on Feb. 23-25. Joining the Bruins in Waikiki will be No. 9 Stanford, No. 10 Hawai’i (the hosts), Saint Mary’s, and Stephen F. Austin. The Bruins will open with the Gaels at 1:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, Feb. 23, followed by a clash with Stephen F. Austin at 4:00 p.m. PT. Then on Friday, UCLA will square off with the Cardinal at 12:15 p.m. PT and then the BeachBows to conclude the round-robin format at 2:45 p.m. PT before competing in a championship bracket with the quarterfinal scheduled for 11:00 a.m. PT on Saturday. The first semifinal will be at 12:15 p.m. PT, the second at 1:30 p.m. PT, followed by the third-place match at 2:45 p.m. PT and the championship dual at 4:00 p.m. PT.
