THE FLATS – No. 10 Georgia Tech volleyball (17-4, 10-2 ACC) will head down to Florida for the back half of its four-match road swing this weekend, traveling to Miami (14-9, 7-5 ACC) for a Friday contest at 7 p.m. in Coral Gables, Fla. before popping back up to Florida State (20-10, 11-7 ACC) on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup in Tallahassee, Fla. Both matches will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

  • Senior outside hitter Julia Bergmann received her second career GameChanger Division I National Player of the Week from the AVCA this week, becoming the first Yellow Jacket in program history to garner two career recognitions.
  • The highly touted Jacket was also tabbed ACC Player of the Week, her third honor of the year following back-to-back recognitions to open the season.
  • Bergmann piled up 46 kills and 25 digs through two triumphs on the weekend en route to her pair of honors.
  • The Yellow Jackets moved to 10 wins in ACC play on the season following last weekend’s pair of 3-1 victories over North Carolina and NC State, now owning double-digit conference triumphs for four consecutive years.
