Cal Closes Out the Pac-12 South Invite With Three Straight Sweeps

LOS ANGELES- The No. 12 California beach volleyball team won all 10 of its matches on Sunday sweeping Oregon and No. 17 Arizona to close out the Pac-12 South Invitational.

The Golden Bears swept Oregon to start the day with four pairs winning in straight sets. Senior Ainsley Radell and fifth-year senior Ashley Delgado got Cal on the board with a 21-11, 21-17 win on court two. The fourth straight win for the two captains.
 
Junior Brooke Buchner and junior Natalie Martin were next off with a 21-15, 21-17 win on court four. On court three sophomore Sierra Caffo and junior Liz Waters-Leiga sealed the dual match with a 21-18, 2-11 win.

Once again Radell and Delgado struck first with a 21-14, 21-15 court two win and Buchner and Martin followed on court four winning their matchup 21-17, 21-17. The order of finish mirrored the previous match as Caffo and Waters-Leiga clinched the dual again with a 21-17, 21-13 win on court three. They are now a perfect 5-0 this season.
 
Junior Maya Gessner and sophomore Ella Dreibholz earned their third straight court one victory in a three-set battle 21-14, 22-24, 15-12.
