LOS ANGELES — No. 3 UCLA (26-2) heads to San Luis Obispo, Calif., to participate in the Center of Effort Beach Volleyball Challenge at Cal Poly’s Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex (Apr. 14-15). For the first time all season, the Top 4 teams will all be in the same location. The tournament will feature eight teams (No. 1 TCU, No. 2 USC, No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Florida State, No. 6 LMU, No. 11 Long Beach State, and the tournament hosts, Cal Poly). The Bruins will open with No. 19 Pepperdine in pool play at 11:15 a.m. on Friday and then finish the day with undefeated and top-ranked TCU at 4:15 p.m. The round-robin pool play will conclude on Saturday morning as UCLA faces Cal Poly.at 11:30 a.m. Then both pools will be seeded with the winners squaring off in the championship match at 5:45 p.m. The 7th-place match will be at 2:00 p.m., followed by the 5th-place match at 3:15 p.m., and the 3rd-place match at 4:30 p.m. Cal Poly will stream all of its duals (only the top two courts) and will provide live stats for every dual. There is a chance that either the AVP or Bally Sports Plus or a combination of both will stream the remaining duals.
