Player of the Week

Emily Londot, Ohio State

Jr. – OPP – Utica, Ohio – Utica – Major: Sport Industry

• Sparked No. 6 Ohio State to four-set wins at No. 15 Purdue and at home against No. 4 Nebraska last week, averaging 5.75 points, 5.25 kills, 4.00 digs and 1.00 blocks per set with a .360 hitting percentage and two double-doubles

• Collected 23 kills (one off her career high), a career-best 21 digs, four blocks and hit .353 in Sunday’s win over the fourth-ranked Cornhuskers, the Buckeyes’ third victory over a top-five opponent this season

• Added 19 kills, 11 digs and four blocks while hitting .368 in the Nov. 10 win at 15th-ranked Purdue

• Garnered Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten status last year

• Captured her fifth career Player of the Week citation and third this season

• Anchored the defensive unit for No. 6 Ohio State last week, averaging 5.63 digs per set as the Buckeyes downed No. 15 Purdue and No. 4 Nebraska

• Tied her season high and shared match-high honors with 24 digs in Sunday’s win over fourth-ranked Nebraska

• Contributed a match-best 21 digs in Ohio State’s victory at No. 15 Purdue on Nov. 10

• A two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten recipient (2020, 2021)

• Earns her fifth career Defensive Player of the Week honor and second this season

• Posted a double-double in Sunday’s victory over the fourth-ranked Cornhuskers, finishing with 55 assists and 11 digs

• Tallied 52 assists and eight digs, while adding four kills for Ohio State in its Nov. 10 win at No. 15 Purdue
