EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team will play Utah in Wednesday’s opening round of the Pac-12 Championship. First serve of the tournament opener is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in Stanford, Calif. The three-day event will are on the Pac-12 Networks.

The teams will be meeting for the third time this season with each posting a 4-1 win. Oregon and Utah will be meeting for the sixth time at the Pac-12 Championship with the Ducks winning the last three in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
 
The winner of Wednesday morning’s match will advance to take on top-seeded UCLA at 3:30 p.m. with the losing team going into the contenders bracket.
 
Oregon heads into the postseason with a 10-22 record and a 5-0 home victory over Portland (April 20) on Senior Day at Amazon Park. The result was the program’s 15th-consecutive win versus the Pilots and extended the all-time series to a 16-3 advantage.
 
Ella Tyus and Bea Wetton lead the Ducks with 19 wins, a single-season UO record, and enter the week riding a four-match winning streak. They are one of three Oregon teams in double figures this season along with Natasha George and Ashley Schroeder (15-17) and Zoe Almanza and Chloe Brown (12-20).
