EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team will spend the first full weekend of April at the Pac-12 North Invitational, hosted by Stanford. The Ducks’ four-dual schedule begins Friday at 9 a.m. (PT) against Arizona State. Three of the team’s four opponents are part of this week’s AVCA poll including two top-10 opponents—USC, Stanford—and one receiving votes—Arizona State.

The Ducks’ second match each day will be televised and streamed on the Pac-12 Networks.
Oregon (7-15) enters the Pac-12 North having won three of its last four including a 2-1 effort in Boise, Idaho, last weekend which included a 4-1 victory over Utah (April 1). The Ducks played Arizona State in the 2023 season opener, a 4-1 setback in Tucson. Oregon will be playing USC and Stanford for the first time this year.
Ella Tyus and Bea Wetton lead the team with a 14-8 record with an eight-match winning streak going into the weekend. The duo has played—and won—its last four matches at the top spot in the lineup. In connection with the movement in the lineup, the team of Zoe Almanza and Chloe Brown are 3-1 in the No. 2 spot. They are third on the team with seven wins this season.
The Ducks have a second double-digit wins team in Natasha George and Ashley Schroeder (11-11). The pair has won six of nine duals at the No. 3 spot in the UO lineup; two of those three losses have come in three sets.
Playing together for the first time during last weekend’s Boise Classic, the pairing of Valerie Peterson and Batia Rotshtein produced a 2-1 mark. Individually, both players have six dual wins this season.
Stanford will also serve as host for the 2023 Pac-12 Championship (April 26-28). Following the Pac-12 North Invitational, the Ducks close out their regular season at the Husky Invitational (April 15-16) and Senior Day against Portland (April 20) at Amazon Park.
