Al-Shamal Sports Club, under the auspices of the Qatar Volleyball Association, on Sunday organized the Volleyball Festival for Kids Under 13 years old by use of a 4×4 system, with the cooperation and supervision of the QVA, chaired by Ali Ghanem Al-Kuwari.
Mr Saeed Salem Al Jamani, QVA Assistant Secretary, presided over the fun-filled activity, with Mr Saeed Jonah Al Hitmi, Member of the QVA Board of Directors, and Eng. Abdullah Shamsan Al Sada, Vice President of the Al-Shamal Sports Club, attending.
The festival began with the national anthem of the State of Qatar and at the end of the activity, Eng Abdullah Shamsan Al-Sada, Vice President of Al-Shamal Sports Club, accompanied by Mr Saeed Aljamani and Saeed Jonah Al-Hitmi, Member of the QVA Board of Directors, honored the participating referees, the technical committees, the club teams, the participating players, coaches and their assistants.
Meanwhile, Al-Gharafa Sports Club were crowned champions of the General Youth U20 Volleyball League, with Al-Khor Sports Club and Al-Rayyan Sports Club in second and third places respectively. QVA Assistant Secretary Mr Saeed Salem Al Jamani presented trophies and medals to the three teams during the awards ceremony.
