STANFORD, Calif. – For a second consecutive season, Pac-12 Player of the Year Kendall Kipp, Setter of the Year Kami Miner and Libero of the Year Elena Oglivie highlight Stanford’s All-Pac-12 awards, the conference announced today.
Joining Kipp, Miner and Oglivie on the 18-player all-conference team are Caitie Baird, Sami Francis and Elia Rubin, while McKenna Vicini landed on the honorable mention list. Stanford now has 165 all-conference selections all-time, including honorable mention.
Kipp is the sixth Cardinal to repeat as Player of the Year and first since Kathryn Plummer won back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. The 13th individual to earn the conference’s highest honor, Kipp captures Stanford’s 18th Player of the Year award overall.
Miner is the third Stanford player to be named Setter of the Year in consecutive seasons, collecting the Cardinal’s eighth award overall as Madi Bugg won it from 2013-15 and Jenna Gray from 2017-19.
Oglivie becomes the second Cardinal to win multiple Libero of the Year honors, joining Morgan Hentz who won it three times (2017-19).
An opposite from Newport Beach, Kipp leads the team with 4.13 kills on .325 hitting and 5.08 points per set. The fifth-year paces the Pac-12 with 0.48 aces per set, the fourth-best average in a single season in school history, and ranks third in kills and points per set. She has registered double-digit kills in 23 of 28 matches played, including five 20-plus kill performances. Kipp has hit .300 or better in 17 matches and has tallied five double-doubles. Her eight aces against Arizona (Oct. 1) tied the school single match record in the rally scoring era, and her 48 aces on the season ties for the fifth-best in a single season in program history.
Miner, who hails from Redondo Beach, leads the Pac-12 and is third nationally with 11.70 assists per set. She’s guided the Cardinal offense to the best hitting percentage in the nation at .316 – tied for the third-best mark in school history. The junior is tied for the team lead with 11 double-doubles. She has recorded 40 or more assists in 17 matches and was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 4.
Oglivie, a senior from Honolulu who will return to the Cardinal for a fifth season in 2024, leads the team and is second in the Pac-12 with 4.17 digs per set.
