The USA men opened the FIVB World Championships on Friday by sweeping Mexico in Poland. The Americans play again Sunday against Bulgaria.
The match marked the international return of Matt Anderson, who had had 10 kills. Aaron Russell and TJ DeFalco, picking up where they left off earlier this summer in Volleyball Nations League, had 12 kills each.
