Tallahassee, Fla. – The No. 3 ranked Florida State Seminoles (24-3) return to Tallahassee to host the Unconquered Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The Noles host conference foe No. 5 LSU (18-8), Southern Miss (15-13), No. 7 Loyola Marymount (18-3), and No. 15 Florida Atlantic (12-8).
The matches start Friday with the Noles taking on Southern Miss for the second time this season at 9:45 a.m. ET. In the first meeting this season at the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge, the Noles took a 4-1 win. The Seminoles currently lead the all-time series 4-0. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 4-2 weekend at their home tournament.
Friday will continue with a match against fellow CCSA conference member No. 5 LSU at 1:30 p.m. ET. The Noles and Tigers have faced off twice on the sand this year, with the Noles gaining the win both times, 3-2. The Tigers are coming off a 1-3 weekend at the East vs West Tournament.
Saturday will start with the Seminoles taking on No. 7 Loyola Marymount at 11:00 a.m. ET. The Noles took on LMU last weekend at the East vs. West Invitational where the Noles got the win 4-1. LMU is coming off of a 2-2 weekend at the East vs West Invitational only losing to No. 5 LSU and the No. 3 Seminoles.
The Unconquered Invitational will end with a match against No. 15 Florida Atlantic at 1:30 p.m. ET. FAU and the Noles have not played each other this year. The Seminoles lead the all-time series 15-0. FAU is coming off of an impressive 3-1 record last weekend at the Stetson Beach Invitational.
