SiriusXM ACC Fall Sports Preview Show to Debut Monday


CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – SiriusXM will air an Atlantic Coast Conference fall sports preview show, beginning with women’s soccer, on Monday, August 12, at 11 a.m. ET on SiriusXM channel 371. Hosted by Roddy Jones and Katie George, the show will feature interviews with every head coach from each of the ACC’s men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball programs.

The preview show will replay several times over the coming days and will be available on demand on the SXM App with clips on SiriusXM social media channels. Following the debut of women’s soccer on Monday, the men’s soccer preview is slated for Friday, August 16, at 11 a.m. ET, while the volleyball season preview is set for Monday, August 19, at 11 a.m. ET.

The ACC women’s soccer season gets underway Thursday, August 15, as the league has seven teams currently in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, headlined by a nation-best five squads in the top 10. Florida State, which is coming off its fourth national championship last season, is ranked No. 1, while ACC newcomer Stanford is ranked No. 2. Clemson opens the year at No. 5, Pitt is No. 7 and North Carolina is tied for No. 8. Notre Dame is No. 15 and Duke rounded out the ACC contingent at No. 24. Virginia and Wake Forest begin the year receiving votes.

A nation-best 10 teams are ranked in the Preseason United Soccer Coaches Men’s Soccer Poll, including defending national championship Clemson leading the way at No. 1. Notre Dame is No. 2, Stanford is No. 5, North Carolina is No. 6 and SMU rounds out the top 10 at No. 10. Virginia is No. 13, Wake Forest is No. 15, Duke is No. 20, Louisville is No. 24 and Syracuse is No. 25. The ACC Men’s Soccer season begins Thursday, August 22.

The 2024 ACC Volleyball season opens on Tuesday, August 27, when Louisville hosts the AVCA First Serve Showcase against Wisconsin at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Earlier this month, the 2024 Preseason ACC Coaches Poll and All-ACC Team were announced with the Cardinals, Pitt and Stanford all receiving first-place votes. The Panthers led the way and were picked to win the conference title, while Stanford was projected second and Louisville claimed third. In the last three seasons, the ACC is the only conference to send at least one team and five teams overall to the Final Four.
