Kansas City, MO β The Heart of America Athletic Conference has announced its 2021 Heart Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Teams. Six Vikings collected honors as Alexa Aldrich-Ingram (SR/Iowa City, IA), Jenna Wagemester (SR/Cedar Rapids, IA), and Chevy Wagner-Chun (SO/Waianae, HI) led the way with first-team accolades.
Aldrich-Ingram collected All-Conference honors for the second year in a row after being named to the second team in 2020. The right-side hitter has played in 120 sets thus far and has recorded 367 kills on the season for an average of 3.06 per set.
Like Aldrich-Ingram, Wagemester collected her second straight All-Conference honors. In 115 sets played, the outside hitter has tallied 419 kills for a 3.64 average per set, with a hitting percentage just shy of .250 at .246.
After being named to the second team in 2020, Chevy Wagner-Chun garnered first-team honors in 2021. The sophomore libero has amassed 519 digs on the season for an average of 4.85 digs per set and leads the Vikings with 43 service aces on the season.
Taylor Carey (SR/Waukee, IA) earned second-team All-Conference honors for her efforts during the 2021 season. The senior has been a force at the net all season long as she has recorded 21 solo blocks and 72 block assists for an average of .79 per set.
As she did in 2020, Bailey Sullivan (SR/Mt. Vernon, IA) earned second-team honors in 2021. The setter has been the driving force behind Grand View’s offense as she has racked up 1,133 assists while averaging 9.6 per set. Sullivan ranks third amongst the Vikings with 20 service aces on the season.
Rounding out the honorees was Sydney Beasley (FR/Darlington, WI) as she was named to the third team. The middle blocker ranks second on the Vikings this season with 87 total blocks with 23 solo and 64 assisted.

No.18 Grand View will host RV Dakota State University for the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round this Saturday, November 16. The first serve is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Charles S. Johnson Wellness Center.
