PULLMAN, Wash. – Two reached double figures in kills, but Sun Devil Volleyball was unable to defeat Washington State, falling in straight sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-21) on the road on Sunday.

- Arizona State (10-12, 4-6 Pac-12) struggled to contain the offense from Washington State (15-6, 7-3 Pac-12) as the Cougars hit .379.
- Senior outside hitter Iman Isanovic led all players with 15 kills, her fourth match in a row in double figures for kills, 16th match of the season. She also had six digs.
- Senior libero Annika Larson-Nummer had 11 digs, which was tied for match-high with two Cougars. This was her seventh match in a row with double-digit digs, which is the longest streak of her career.
- Another Sun Devil with double-digit kills was junior Marta Levinska with 10 on a .318 clip. She added two blocks as well.
- Setters Shannon Shields and Ella Snyder had 16 and 14 assists, respectively. Shields also had two aces and six digs.

Arizona State got off to a slow start in the first set, giving up the first three points until a kill by Isanovic put the Sun Devils on the board. Washington State remained in front when Shields came in and immediately served an ace, cutting into the deficit and making it 11-8. Down 17-11, ASU called a timeout.
