COLLEGE PARK, MD. — Sydney Dowler and Rainelle Jones are set to represent Maryland volleyball at the inaugural 2022 Big Ten Volleyball Media Day in early August.
Jones and Dowler will participate in a series of photoshoots, video shoots, and content creation. The first annual event will be similar to the Big Ten’s media days for football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball.
The Terps are slated to make their appearances on the second day of the event, August 2.
Jones was again among the Terps leaders on and off the court last season. With 209 kills and 187 total blocks, she was a key force on both sides.
Dowler led the team with 1,090 assists last season as the quarterback of the offense. With 37 saves and 73 kills, she was an all-around force.
Maryland will begin the season August 26 as they welcome Navy to the XFINITY Center Pavilion. Tickets will go on sale in early August.
