Teams are ready for the opportunity to earn a spot in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games through the ParaVolley Pan America Zonal Championships in Edmonton, Canada.
The Zonal Championship will be held from May 9 to 13 at the Saville Community Sports Centre. The winner of the men’s competition will secure the berth, and the highest placed non-qualified women’s team – either Canada or the United States – will take the coveted spot at Paris 2024.
The Iranian men’s team and the Brazilian women’s team have already qualified after their respective title victories at the 2022 WPV Sitting Volleyball World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Edmonton, participating women’s teams are Canada, United States and Brazil, while the men’s teams are Canada, Argentina, Brazil and the United States.
