Bowling Green, Ky.- The men’s bowling program picked up an accomplishment it had only done one other time in program history. The team saw a student-athlete be named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Bowler of the Week.
After winning the individual title at the Brandon Burns Memorial, Jacob Watts became the second men’s bowler in program history to win the weekly award. The senior knocked down 1,436 pins in six games to win the tournament for an average of 239.3. The Goodlettsville, Tenn., native helped the Bulldogs finish second overall as a team in the tournament.
This is the first weekly award for Watts. The next edition of the award will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
