Bangkok, Thailand, November 25, 2024 – As the FIVB Level-3 Coaches Course, which was held at the FIVB Development Center in Thailand from November 18 to 25, drew to a close on Monday, all 35 enthusiastic candidates were jubilant at passing the examination to attend the Certificate Presentation Ceremony.
To pass the examination, a candidate must succeed in the theoretical and the practical parts jointly conducted by FIVB Course Director Mr John Kessel from USA and FIVB Course Instructor Ms Feng Kun from China, and present their assignment proving that they are able to transfer their knowledge and experience. After eight days of an exceptional learning activities, all candidates had proved their abilities and it augured well a bright future career lies in their own hands.
In the whole duration of the course, organized by Thailand Volleyball Association in conjunction with FIVB and AVC, all enthusiastic candidates from 17 countries featuring Spain, Scotland, Norway, Australia, Greece, Nepal, Maldives, India, USA, Thailand, China, Gambia, Philippines, Japan, Macao China, Singapore and Hong Kong China had engaged in learning coaching aspects including scouting, new technologies, evaluation and performance.
In addition, advanced planning of team preparations, psychological and mental aspects of players’ preparation and performance as well as technical problems and how to solve them successfully were among important topics being taught in the course.
The Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony took place on Monday at the FIVB Development Center in Thailand, with AVC Executive Director Mr Shanrit Wongprasert and Thailand Volleyball Association President Mr Somporn Chaibangyang jointly presiding.
Attending the prestigious ceremony as guests of honour were FIVB Course Director Mr John Kessel, FIVB Course Instructor Ms Feng Kun and AVC Referee Coordinator Mr Songsak Chareonpong, while Mr Park Kiwon from Korea, Head Coach of Thailand men’s national team, Mr Kiattipong Radchatakriangkai, Head Coach of Thailand women’s national team, TVA Secretary General Mr Nattapong Kesaphan as well as Mr Issara Riddhisinha, General Manager of FIVB Development Center in Thailand, and AVC Development Coordinator Ms Mingkwan Pusiddusid were also present in the Monday’s ceremony.
