In preparation for the upcoming 2023/2024 season of the AXA Insurance Efeler League, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor has been actively strengthening its roster. The club recently confirmed a deal with North Macedonian setter, Gjorgi Gjorgiev, marking a significant addition to their squad.
Gjorgiev, with an impressive sports portfolio, has previously played for multiple clubs, including Marek Union, Maliye Piyango, Paris Volley, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, Hebar Pazardzhik, Cambrai Volley, as well as Hatay Büyükşehir Belediyespor.
Before this acquisition, Bursa had already fortified its team by re-signing six players from the previous season, including outside hitters Gökhan Gökgöz, Dmitrii Bahov, Emre Berat Fırat, middle blockers Emre Batur, Fatih Cihan, and libero Caner Ergül.
Furthermore, the club also welcomed new players: libero Semih Çelik, middle blocker Hakkı Çapkınoğlu, and opposite Daudi Okello.
