UCLA bounced back at BYU, Grand Canyon stayed unbeaten, and Harvard knocked off Princeton on Saturday in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball.
In the Pro Volleyball Federation, the Columbus Fury swept at the Vegas Thrill.

There are no men’s matches Sunday or Monday. On Tuesday, there are eight, including two in Conference Carolinas when North Greenville plays Belmont Abbey and Erskine plays Emmanuel. The MIVA’s Charleston goes to the MPSF’s Concordia Irvine.
The Pro Volleyball Federation has a Sunday match when the Omaha Supernovas go to the Orlando Valkyries. Monday the Vegas Thrill are at the Columbus Fury.
Saturday men
Three MPSF matches highlighted the Saturday schedule, including a second five-setter at No. 8 BYU, this time won by No. 4 UCLA.
A day after losing in Provo in five, UCLA (12-4, 3-1) won 25-21, 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-10. Ethan Champlin had 14 kills with one error in 20 attacks to hit .650 and added six digs. Ido David had 10 kills, a block and eight digs and one of his team’s eight aces and seven of its 32 serving errors. BYU (10-6, 1-3) got 12 kills from Miks Ramanis and 10 from Luke Benson. Teon Taylor had nine kills and hit .429 …
Second-ranked Grand Canyon improved to 13-0, 4-0 with a sweep of visiting No 10 USC (10-6, 2-2). Gianni Camden and Jackson Hickman led a balanced attack with 12 kills each. Karter Rogers added 10 kills with two errors in 16 attacks and Rico Wardlow had nine kills with one error in 12 attacks. USC got 12 kills from Dillon Klein, who had three blocks and two digs. Wesley Smith had seven kills with one error in 10 attacks, three digs and six blocks, two solo …
No. 6 Stanford (8-6, 1-1) beat No 11 Pepperdine (10-5, 1-3) as Ryan Barnett had a career-high 20 kills, hitting .389, to go with an assist, four blocks and six digs. Cole Ketrzynski had 10 kills, two blocks and three digs, and Cole Rasic had 10 kills, two assists, an ace a block and two digs. Ethan Watson had seven kills with one error in nine swings and eight blocks, two solo. Stanford’s Theo Snoey had 13 kills, an ace, three blocks and seven digs, and Alex Rottman had 11 kills, hit .321, and had five digs and six blocks, one solo …
No. 15 Lewis (9-7) of the MIVA was in danger of being on the bad end of a reverse sweep but came through with a 25-20, 25-15, 19-25, 19-25, 15-19 victory at the Big West’s No. 16 CSUN (8-6)….
