The USA women’s Olympic volleyball team came away with a 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-10, 15-12 victory Wednesday over the Netherlands in the first of three exhibition matches in Long Beach State’s Pyramid.
The same teams play again at 7 p.m. Pacific Friday and 4 p.m. Sunday.
Avery Skinner led the Americans with 25 kills, hitting .561, and two blocks.
The USA is in a Paris Olympics pool with France, China and Serbia, while the Netherlands is in a pool with Italy, Türkiye and the Dominican Republic. Click here for more from USA Volleyball.
