LOS ANGELES – The six-time national champion USC beach volleyball team announced its 2024 competition schedule on Friday, Jan. 26, and begins defense of its three consecutive NCAA championships when it opens the spring season at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Classic in Honolulu, Hawai’i, on Feb. 22.

The Women of Troy will visit the islands for the first time since 2018 and open the season with a rematch of the 2023 NCAA title dual against crosstown rival UCLA. USC will also meet Stanford, Loyola Marymount, and host Rainbow Wahine in the Classic on Queen’s Beach.

USC plays its first home duals as host to Long Beach State and Concordia in the Battle for Los Angeles on March 1. The Trojans then welcome Cal Poly and Grand Canyon for a second day of Battle for LA duals on March 2. USC was 11-0 on home sand in 2023 and is on an active 18-dual win streak at Merle Norman Stadium; one win from matching the longest home win streak in program history (2014-16).

The Trojans travel to Arizona State’s new beach volleyball facility in Tempe, Ariz.—the site of the final Pac-12 Championship—to take on Utah, Washington, Arizona, and Oregon in the Pac-12 South Invitational (March 9-10). For spring break, USC heads to Florida for a tournament on Pompano Beach sand hosted by Florida Atlantic.

On March 19, USC will host Hawai’i and Concordia at home and then hosts its annual Cardinal and Gold Alumnae Match on Saturday, March 23. The Trojans then hit the road again for the Death Volley Invitational, March 29-30, hosted by LSU in Baton Rouge, La. There, they’ll play duals against TCU, Florida Atlantic, the host Tigers, and Florida State.

USC starts the month of April in the Pacific Northwest and will play on Alki Beach for the first time since 2018 when Washington hosts the Pac-12 North Invitational. The Trojans will face Arizona State, Stanford, and California in three duals in Seattle.

The Trojans will end the regular season in California and start with a short trip up the coast to San Luis Obispo, Calif., for the Center of Effort Challenge hosted by Cal Poly, April 12-13. There, USC will play Pepperdine for the first time since 2021, and takes on Long Beach State, and TCU in pool play. USC’s final regular-season duals take place on April 18 at…
