Utah Volleyball Falls at #2 Stanford

Stanford, Calif. – Utah Volleyball fell to the second-ranked Stanford Cardinal in three sets on Wednesday afternoon (11-25, 20-25, 10-25). Utah put together their best attacking set in the second against the Cardinal, posting a .250 attacking percentage.

For the third consecutive match, Lauren Jardine set the tone of the Utah attack, putting down a team-high eight kills on 31 attempts. Amelia Van Der Werff tallied five kills on 15 total swings with just two errors, finishing with a .200 clip. Kamryn Gibadlo supported the Utah offense with six kills on 23 attack attempts, hitting .087.

Viktoria Wahlgren recorded her 13th multi-kill match, with two kills on two attempts on the afternoon. Wahlgren added the only two Utah aces of the match from the back service line. With three kills and zero errors on 10 attempts, Allie Olsen, posted a .300 hitting clip or better for the fifth time this season.

Utah closes out the season hosting the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday, Nov. 24, with first serve from the Jon M. Huntsman Center at 3 p.m. MT. Live coverage of Utah versus Colorado can be seen on the Pac-12 Network.
