MATCH WEEK

The Utes get set for their final week of action, first traveling to No. 2 Stanford for a midweek showdown with the Cardinal. The match against Stanford will be on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 3 p.m. MT on the Stanford Live Stream. Utah closes out the season hosting the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday, Nov. 24, with first serve from the Jon M. Huntsman Center at 3 p.m. MT. Live coverage of Utah versus Colorado can be seen on the Pac-12 Network.

Utah Volleyball will celebrate Senior Day, honoring Emily Smith, on Friday, Nov. 22, before the match against Colorado. 

QUICK HITS

Lauren Jardine comes off a career-high night with 23 kills in the Utes’ five-set match against Washington.

Kamryn Gibadlo has posted double-digit kills 16 times in her first 26 matches, putting down 14 kills on 39 swings against the Huskies.

Emrie Satuala amassed 17 kills on 47 attempts in the weekend series. The middle blocker was flawless against the Huskies on Friday night with nine kills on 25 attempts, logging a .360 clip.

• With 23 digs in the Friday night match, Vanessa Ramirez crossed the 1,400 career digs mark. She has tallied 20+ digs in three matches this season.

• This is the first meeting between Utah and Stanford this season. Stanford has won four of the last six meetings. The Utes’ last win over the Cardinal came in 2020 with a pair of 3-1 wins. 

• Utah owns a 15-11 overall record against Colorado. Utah has lost three of the last four meetings with their last win coming in the second match of the series of the 2021 season. Utah is 11-2 all-time in matches played in Salt Lake City against the Buffaloes.

SCOUTING THE CARDINAL

Stanford is supported by the trio of Kendall Kipp, Elia Rubin and Caitie Baird averaging over three kills per set. Kipp has positioned herself amongst the conference leaders, sitting at third averaging 4.14 kills per set. The…
