Utah has found itself among the top-25 of the nation in 45 consecutive polls, dating back to the poll on Sept. 2, 2019. The 45 weeks in a row in the AVCA Coaches Poll is tied for the longest stretch in program history, matching the record of 45 consecutive weeks ranked from Sept. 11, 2000 to Dec. 2, 2002.

The Utes are coming off their sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and finished the 2021 season with a 22-9 overall record with a 14-6 conference record. Utah finished third overall in the Pac-12 for the third year in a row, while the 14 Pac-12 wins tied a program-best since joining the conference. Madelyn Robinson highlights the returners, heading into the fall season as a Preseason All-Pac-12 selection after she earned conference and region honors in 2021.

With a total of eight returners, the Utes have welcomed three standout sophomore transfers and a strong freshman class of four itching to make an immediate impact.
